PDP Reaches Out to Peter Obi – Jerry Gana Speaks
Former presidential candidate Peter Obi might be making a major political comeback!
Jerry Gana, a founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), just revealed that the party has reached out to Obi to return. This bombshell was dropped during his appearance on AIT’s Focus Nigeria earlier today.
Quick Backstory:
Obi left the PDP in May 2022 before the 2023 elections.
At the time, he cited *”recent developments in the party as his reason for leaving.
He later became the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, shaking up Nigeria’s political scene.
Gana’s Statement:
When asked if PDP had contacted Obi, Gana replied:
Why not? He’s not the only one. We’re reaching out to others too, but I won’t announce names until we finalize things. We’ve rebuilt the party now we’re ready to welcome them back.
